Incorporation and Initial Operations​​

The Philippine Oncology Center Corporation (POCC) was incorporated on October 22, 2008.
-
On November 10, 2008, POCC took ownership of Marian Radiation Oncology Center.

Located in the basement of Marian Medical Arts Building, Dahlia Avenue, West Fairview Park, Quezon City.

Facility spans 386 square meters and includes:

CT Scan machine for treatment planning

Examination and recovery rooms

Surgical procedure room

Chemotherapy room

Medical Linear Accelerator (Linac) treatment room

Doctors’ rooms

Medical physicist’s room for treatment planning

Refurbishment and upgrades were done for machines, systems, and facilities.

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed with Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRRMMC) in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

High dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy

Clinical operations of JRRMMC-POCC Cancer Institute began on January 1, 2011.

On September 1, 2014, POCC assumed administration, management, and operation of the Department of Radiotherapy of St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center – Cancer Institute in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

New Project in La Union
​

POCC is starting a new radio-oncology treatment center and ambulatory surgical clinic at Bethany Hospital Inc., San Fernando City, La Union.

Partnership with ManilaMed
​

On December 8, 2015, POCC signed an MOA with Medical Center Manila (ManilaMed).

Objective: Establish a state-of-the-art radio-oncology treatment center on General Luna St., Ermita, Manila.

Clinical operations set to begin in 4th quarter of 2016.
